Blabbing:)

One my close friends introduce Goodreads to me a few months back. I am hooked ever since!

I discovered so many good authors!! Since then, I bought more than 60 books! And It's only been a bit more than 4 months!!! I told you earlier that I was probably borderline shopaholic!! Make your call:) But, the thing is, that with 2 small children's I only had time to read very few of them.

I realised that my favorite books are YA, romance and mysteries and suspense books.

I am determined to start writing reviews for the books I read. This will also be a first time for me! Ah well! ...How hard can it be?!  I'll  just have to give my opinion of the book without giving out any spoilers...The hardest thing for me now is to find time to actually read the books!

For Christmas, my husband bought me a Ebook reader. One of the best gift ever!! As I was nursing and rocking my son to sleep at night I was able to read. Now, my son's curiosity is much more acute and it seems as though he would rather read with me (or eat it rather!) than sleep or eat. Although the E-reader is awesome, I still need the actual book... nothing compare to the nice feeling of having a actual book in your hand and turning real pages.

I also discovered the many blogs that wonderful authors write and also very talented people who have great things to share. There are quite a few people who write reviews of books in their blogs. It is really interesting to read what they like or dislike avout a book before choosing to read it yourself. 


Having seen all of those great blogs makes me wonder if my blog is good enough to interest people... (here goes the people pleaser again!!) Oh well! I guess what's important is that I enjoy writing it...

Purpose of this blog

OK... I'm new at this...I am usually the type of person who usually write something 10 times before I'm totally satisfied about what I wrote...So this will be a challenge for me! :) One of my objectives with this blog is to express myself more freely without being worried about what others may think of me. 


I am a perfectionist and a people pleaser by nature...Urgh! Very tiring sometimes!! Therefore, this blog will be about letting myself loose a little. This is my first time writing in english so bare with me if some sentences doesn't make much sense or a word is misspelled. It is also the first time I let other people read what I really am thinking. A lot of first time for me!! :) 


I will try to make this blog interesting, but most of all I want it to be a place where I can write about mostly everything ... If, I happen to have any followers, you are more than welcome to post your ideas, thoughts, suggestions and comments! I would very much like this blog to be interactive...


I am a mother of two (4 yr old and 8 month old) so my days consist mostly of taking care of them... playing pretend with cars or dolls... so I welcome any interaction with people. As I was saying, my days consist of playing with the kids, therefore reading is my escape from my not so much exciting life. Don't get me wrong! I love being a mother and adore my kids and husband! But, when I'm reading a good book it is my way of escaping my very repetitive little routine.
